Yongjia Song

I am a Ph.D. student at the University of California, Irvine, co-advised by Professor Judith Kroll and Professor Gregory Scontras. I also got my B.A. degree in Psychology at UCI.

Research Interests:
I’m interested in bilingual’s language processing and factors that affect their languages. Now I’m studying a phenomenon called lexical entrainment in which people tend to use their conversational partners’ word choices. I’m investigating how bilinguals behave in lexical entrainment in both their L1 and L2, and what factors may play a role in lexical entrainment.

Looking for:

Mandarin-English bilinguals preferred for RA’s.
