Lab Affiliation(s): Burke Lab; Bilingualism, Mind, and Brain Lab
Research Interests: cross-linguistic influence, lexical and syntactic processing in bilinguals, neural and behavioral adaptation, aging, cognitive contributions to language processing
I’m completing a postdoctoral fellowship with Judith Kroll and Deborah Burke investigating language production in bilingual older adults. My research focuses on changes in language processing as a result of language use, such as bilingualism, and physiological changes, such as neural changes in aging. I’ve also been investigating how cognitive processes, such as executive functions, interact with language processing, and how the brain adapts to accommodate language processing in bilingualism and aging. My postdoctoral work is funded by a University of California Chancellor’s Postdoctoral Fellowship and an National Science Foundation Postdoctoral Research Fellowship.
